Delphi Construction Completes New Balance Squashbusters Facility in Lawrence, MA

Lawrence, MA – February 25, 2025 – Delphi Construction is proud to announce the completion of the New Balance Squashbusters facility, a project that marks a significant milestone in community development. Located in Lawrence, MA, this new 19,150 SF facility will serve as the permanent home for Squashbusters, a non-profit organization that focuses on youth development through character-building activities and healthy initiatives.

Squashbusters, in partnership with New Balance, offers afterschool programs that engage youth in urban areas, encouraging them to grow both personally and athletically. The facility includes state-of-the-art spaces designed to support these initiatives and provide a lasting impact on the community.

The building features a modern exterior with vertical Kingspan insulated panels, giving the structure a contemporary and functional design. Inside, the multi-level facility includes eight custom-built squash courts, a viewing area, an overlook mezzanine, a community kitchen, classrooms, offices, a fitness center, student locker rooms, and public restrooms—all designed to support the personal growth and well-being of the communities’ young participants.

The design team, including Abacus Architects + Planners (architect), H+O Engineering (structural engineer), and Fitzmeyer Tocci (MEP engineer), brought their expertise and dedication to this project, ensuring a seamless integration of form and function that serves both the community and Squashbusters’ mission.
