Delphi Construction Joins Town of Swansea for Ribbon Cutting of Swansea Public Library Expansion
Historic library transformed into a modern 19,000 SF facility serving the evolving needs of the community
Mashpee, MA — October 2025 — Delphi Construction will join the Town of Swansea, local officials, and members of the project team to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly expanded Swansea Public Library. This long-anticipated event marks the completion of a transformative project that more than quadruples the library’s size while preserving its historic character.
Originally built in the 19th century, the library has undergone a major expansion from approximately 3,700 square feet to over 19,000 square feet. The upgraded facility integrates modern infrastructure and accessibility standards, including new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, full ADA compliance, and an elevator, while maintaining the distinguished original façade.
