About The BCMI Corporate Office Building
When Barnstable County Mutual Insurance wanted to construct modern corporate offices relocated from their original location they constructed in the late 1800’s, they chose Delphi Construction with our Cape Cod operations to handle the project.
Due to the nature of BCMI’s business as property insurers on Cape Cod their desire was to be 100% self-sufficient in the event of severe weather events or disasters. All of the building’s mechanical systems operate on a generator which allows them to be up and running if a disaster hits. The building also has a full kitchen and full bathroom that allows the staff to stay on site to service their clients during any disaster or weather event. Adding to these technical features are modern interior finishes that include Bamboo floors and stair treads, Bamboo ceilings, an aluminum and glass panel stair rail system, and a traditional wood exterior facade.
