Brewstrer

Brewster Fire Station

Project Overview

The town of Brewster had outgrown their Fire Department’s headquarters and were in need of a new, larger facility to handle the growing town’s needs and larger modern equipment.  In February of 2017, Delphi broke ground on the new facility.

The new Fire Station encompasses five apparatus bays separated by storage and training areas.  On the first level, there are new administrative offices, a records room, an emergency operations center, a Captain’s Office with five work stations and storage for equipment. The upper level of the new station includes a bunk room for firefighters working 24 hour shifts in addition to a dining area and an exercise gym.

Special training facilities were also incorporated into the design of the facility to include a smoke training room, and emergency window rescue to name a couple.
